TRANSNATIONAL MEETING IN FINLAND 5TH-7TH OF NOVEMBER 2021

Project's only meeting in person was organised 5th-7th of November 2021 in Finland.  This was due to a prolonged Covid-19 pandemic and its restrictions to travelling and organising events.

Transnational meeting took place in Heinola, at Sport Institute of Finland, Vierumäki. The project group gathered together to discuss about issues that were learned during the project and worked on the best practices guidelines. The project group also organised a seminar to the Finnish cheerleading coaches who are involved in inclusive cheerleading.

The seminar contained a theoretical session and a practical session. During the theory session, it was discussed about the best ways to face an athlete during the practice session and the things that should be considered before the beginning of the practice session. The participants and the project group members engaged also in interesting discussion of the differences in coaching disabled athletes and non-disabled athletes and if there were any differences.

During the practical session, the participants were given an opportunity to experience how people with hearing impairment can feel a music and a beat. The participants also designed together a warm-up session and they were given feedback of it. The seminar ended with taking some stunting pictures.
